Default My Cheap Jeep

After lots of searching through good info on this site, I finally have something that works. Some of the stuff I already had laying around, others I scrounged up for pretty cheap.

Here's a quick rundown.
-Widened and modded stock TLT Chassis
-MOPED ESC
-55t Integy motor
-Tmaxx shocks with Losi yellow and whites
-Stampede tranny
-2 crappy servos which I really need to upgrade. Them are the biggest thing holding me back, they dont even have enough power to turn the wheels when the thing is just sitting on carpet, but I got em for free so they work for now.

It's been working pretty good though. I put a bunch of bb's in the tires and they made the thing pretty dang planted to the ground. The only thing is the tires like to twist up. I think I'm gonna try the airsoft bb's next, see if that'll eliminate some of the twist.

Let me know what you think, and if you see anything that could use to be improved.

Thanks,
-Chris

Why look on Ebay when you can support two good vendors right here on this site.

Double J (Chicken Butt - restickered 995's)
Or jpcustomrcs.com (run2jeepn)

Not bad looking for a budget rig.
You might want to lower the ride height a bit by reworking the upper shock mounts, find some hump packs to replace the stick and mount it in front between the frame somehow (both will lower the COG some) and lower the body and trim it more. And the same weight of airsoft bb's instead of copper will take up a lot more room in the tires and give you better sidewall support.
