Im going to try 84/13 to start. if I dont like that I am going to 99/15. Unfortunately, I cant tell you how it works since I dont have my radio yet. Just thought I would throw my staring point out there incase its way off.

I still have not gotten around to building my tcs-10 TLT. I already have all the parts but I wanted to complete my clod before starting the TLT. I will be running 87/12 gearing on a Lathe motor... Right now, I am using the stock 13T pinion on my clod and its pretty darn slow so the 87/12 will be really slow... I think...

What kind of shocks are you using? Is there any bind? How much articulation are you getting out of it? I am able to get about 70* which is more than enough for me.

As far as gearing, I am running a t600 with 87/12 gearing.

I am using rc10 shocks and I am getting about 70*-75* of articulation. And for gearing I am running a lathe motor and pede tranny at 96/12 but I think I need I little bit more wheel speed so I will problly gear up soon.

87/12 with t600.

I have one shock that I may need to replace. Tmaxx shocks with losi yellow/white springs. It seems to stick where the others glide. I had to loosen some of the link mounts to free them up and also it has helped to just articulate the links and break them in...the fun way is to drive it. I can lift tires where I shouldn't but I think it may be a combination of the shock and the tight end links breaking in. It is getting better and better. Silicon spray seems to help on the endlinks.

I have also been experimenting with the preload on the springs. I haven't measured the max articulation on a bench, because I can't get close to that driving yet. It will lift a wheel before it stuffs. I also need to widen it a bit. I have to limit servo throw or it will rub on the springs.

Oh yeah, I already burned thru a 645mg...

Fun stuff. What a change from stock. I am so caught up driving it that I still haven't finished the body that is suppose to be on it...just using a cut up rustler body

Not to break topic.... but how do you guys like them?

One way to free up the suspension (like I said in the FAQ) is to use the tamiya ball ends and then use traxxas balls. It adds a little slop but the suspension is liquid smooth.

I just use windows movie maker 2. Its a patch you download for XP to upgrade your movie maker 1. Really straight forward to use.

welll heres a few pics of my truck... I moved some stuff around.. I tapped another hole and mounted the rear shocks a little more inward. Also, because of the lengths of my links I had to tap another hole for the rear to try and get it to align with my wheel wells but I couldnt get them that far in. I also did a rear top link mount in the rear and moved the inner links a up a bit ...well look at the pics and tell me what you think....oh yeah, the electronics are mounted high just in case there is any water around to conquer....it is also geared at 12/87 ..its a pretty good gearing for me...

nope different set ups from front to back... I havent been able to get my hands on a top link mount for hte front yet.. I really dont have the resources to make one..I dont have anything that will cut metal , cause my dremel took a dump..but once I find one Im gonna switch the front over also and probably do the rear diferent..I dont thing it is too stable right now, but I mounted cause i wanted to try it....

PWT - believe it or not that jeep has only seen 1 event and some crawl testing around the house....lol...

I like the chassis I think it works really well....
