| My "Hybrid" 2.2 comp rig...
so after running my "shaved" SW2 chassis'ed rig at the las W. Pa. C. comp, i was fairly pleased with the results of how it rode, with the exception of it being a bit on the floppy side. fast forward to last week... i splurge and buy the last set of JJ grins, and bolt them up, placing my shocks more upright than they were. got rid of the flop, and once i figure out how to get my 50/50 revo shocks to be a lot softer, i think it will handle even better. now as far as specs go, we all know what stuff goes into one of these, so here are the unique features: -"shaved" SW2 chassis - Double J grins -50/50'ish revo shocks--using losi 25 weight oil, and an 18T front silver and blue spring inside, centering the piston. (sorry, at the moment, i forgot which spring is o which side of the pistons...) -Parma Grasshopper body -TCS BM-6 outrunner and Mamba maxx (as soon as i get threadlock and motivated enough to solder all my wires up...) now for pics: |
