Default Repairing TLT axle housing

Is there a way to fix an axle housing that was shaved a little too far? Just wondering about glueing on another piece of plastic or styrer over the spot.Would that work or should I just get some new housings?

They're like 5 bucks from RCP, just get a new set.

Glop some JB weld over the area and smooth it out.

Thin strip of lexan over the spot/hole. Give it the flat bottom look. There are a couple TLT axles with lexan on them in the ORCRC group.
