a lot of us run over the servo mounts like this

the problem with mass producing these is in the variations of the servo cases. Differen brand servos have different size cases. Yes the size varies only a little but it's enough for the mount not to fit. It would fit fine on some servos and not fit at all on others....

that HULK mount doesn't fit flush/tight on the servo so that would be a good universal mount.

They are pretty easy to make- all you need is a drill and a dremel (or hacksaw). Go buy some angle aluminum from home depot, and cut it up to fit the servo, like the picture above. Drill holes for 2 servo screws on each side.

Or you can buy some flat aluminum at home depot. Bend it in a vice and make one that looks like this:

I went with a bent up over servo link mount on my TLT. I just used a cheap $18 metal brake and the vise and hammer technic to form them. Then to drill the holes I just placed the stock bumper assembly over the mount and marked the holes with a sharpie.

Well the two times I've taken the TLT outside to run it, something would dump on me. First run the ESC got wet, second run the drive shaft popped off the tranny since my lhs was out of the updated set of diff gears for the pede tranny... But before I build up this chassis I had a sad looking tube frame for the TLT. And I got a few runs with that setup outside and the tires seemed to work pretty good in the snow. I need more time before I can say how they do in the dirt and on the rocks though.

I use this TLT mainly for racing with our local solid axle MT club. We have a class just for stretched tlt's, its a pro stadium truck scale class :-P Only 5 of us are running trucks in the class, but its a blast and the things don't handle nearly as well as the modded race clods. But this truck is still more then capable offroad as well. I can tell you that the geolanders are not the tire of choice for racing on carpet though.

Maybe tonight I'll start a thread for my TLT finally :-p
