Default Rear axle lock out with Tamiya parts

I bought a TLT off ebay and it's set up with 4 wheel steer which I find out is not 2.2 comp legal. I've done several searches, but I can not find how to lock the rear axle. I was wondering what part bag from Tamiya has the parts I need to use the links to bolt to the axle, like i've seen some rigs on here. I've seen the RC4wd lock outs at RCP, but I would like to use 4 wheel steer when not at comps. I'd appreciate your advice. This site has a ton off info and knowledge! Thank you in advance for your input.

At comps, you cant even have the servo on there.

As for dig with just Tamiya parts, I cant help you.

Not true. You can have a servo on there for dig operation. The rules clearly state that 2.2 is no rear steer and must be locked out.

Hey Brent here is how mine is locked out in the rear. Two rod ends with a short piece of all-thread I believe.

I believe the rod end you need is Tamiya part# 50596, and I think the threaded rod is Tamiya part #2500032. I'm not 100% sure these are them, just looked like the right ones from the exploded diagram.

You can make your own using other rod ends and some 4-40 or 3mm threaded rod.

Depends on which Club.... Here in Arizona we allow rear steering.

locked mine out w/ the extra ball ends/ threaded rod in the stock tlt kit. I ran one of the long rods from each spindle ond one on top of one end to one of the mounting screws on that side by the "pumpkin". You do need to get a longer screw,a lock nut to fit it, and some washers to rig it all up. Would be better for clearance w/ 2 short links from each spindle to the axle housing, but if I remember right I only had 1 rod short enough left over, so this is how I did it to get her going.
