Default My First Tuber 1:1 Inspired

I managed to get ahold of some drawings for a 1:1 Hendrix chassis, and I began working off of those.... of course, the creativity kicked in and this is what I have so far...

My current built is an SW2 with all the goodies, and that will all transfer over to this chassis. The chassis is constructed of 3/16" mild steel (solid) and is 13 inches from the base of the stinger to the end of the chassis, or 15.5 overall..

Anyway, here are some pics...looking for ideas. I've just got the chassis taped together right now, but everything will be mig welded and ground smooth when I am happy with it. I think I've got the shock mounts figured out. Now my only trouble is the upper links.... Of course, nothing for mounting is on the chassis yet... what you see is the main chassis only.

Well...ya know...just kidding... I've thought the same thing, and I may cut it down. The pictures make it look much larger than it really is. Overall its fairly proportional to the chassis.

I might have to cut back the viagra dosage a bit, and make the stinger a bit smaller.
