I need some suggestions on springs. I have some serious torque twist even without the body on.

Yea "whites" are way to soft. What weight shock oil you running? Try the stock E-maxx springs in the rear and see what that does, it may work for ya.

I also have a short shaft for my R2 coming. That will allow me to reduce the pinion angle on the front. Rear axle is rotated upwards.

Also got a HPI bug body coming too.

I heard the SW3's work best with bug bodies,

Shock oil is whatever probably came from traxxas. I have some stock reds, and some blacks that I got from somewhere. I will order others if that is what will work best.

Tanis has his SW3 dialed in, he'd be the guy to ask for setup advice.
Sw3

"Oh what the H3LL am I saying.........YES, Bender would be the one to ask!" Sorry Bender, still a little upset :-( that my boy Tanis isn't going to Nats to kick some butt and bring home the GOLD!

Nice looking build jimbiss.

I run stock front springs from a Stampede in the rear of my SW3. They are quite a bit stiffer then the Losi white buggy springs, which should help with your torque twist issues.

Ahhhh shucks

BENDER is the person "I" would take setup advice from, he is the current national champ after all.

The setup in the pics looks fine to me, I bet with some different springs, you will notice an improvement.
I like your helper there, put a radio in her hand, that's what I did with mine

Got my R2 short shaft put in today. Didn't realize it was sitting in the mailbox. The helps out the front driveline angles lots.

Looks great man. I really like the yellow paint job. PM me sometime when you're headed down to I.F. and I'll show you my crawl spot. I got to get in gear and get my build finished.

So today I stretched out the wheelbase to 12.5, I gave then a little bend to increase clearence. I just added to the rear or the truck.

The bronco body doesn't quite fit right now. But I have a bug body on the way.

Hey Jimbiss, looks good. I would maybe trim the fenders on the Bronco body a little more and lower it. Are the wheel weights you used adhesive on the back? How are they working for you? I need to do the same on my build.

Mongo, I'm sure the weights help, but i haven't driven that much so it is hard for me to tell.

You going to be around this weekend? Is your truck back together yet?

Nope, my truck's not done yet. May be a while with my busy schedule. I work retail so most weekends I'm working. I'll let you know when I've got some time.
