Default my fun little S-10

here's my S-10 Trails Truck. Powered by a Mag Mayhem, Rooster ESC, generic steering servo, locked rear diff, and TQ3 with TCS switch awaiting winchified Hitec 645MG. i dont know if i'll need anymore torque, so this Lathe motor may go on ebay soon.

this thing hauls some A with this mag mayhem, it does what my savage 4.6 does in first gear! i'm guessing close to 20 or 25mph. very hard to drive, flips over all the time. i've already broken 2 rear drive shafts jumping it on my lawn. i can tell this Trails Truck thing will be fun!

I've had a blast with mine, also have broken 2 rear shafts. I run the lathe motor in mine, and it's still plenty fast, plus I have the touque needed when crawling.

I made a very simple winch mount, using some 3/4" aluminum and 2 stock TXT servo mounts, you'll have to check it out. I spent forever figuring out where to mount the winch.

I mounted it just to the passanger side of the steering servo, it sits over the drivshaft. I don't have any pics of it, as I can't find the cable for my camera. I'll have to look around for it and snap some pics.

Good looking truck you got there.

I have a completely unrelated question. The rally block tires you have there, how much shorter are they than the BFG tires? I am using them on a project of mine, but am debating whether I should use some pajero/hummer tires instead. Thanks!

they are WAAAAAYYYYY shorter, i bought them to use for bashing to try and preserve my BFGs but they are too short. i'm just gonna use them on my Nitro TC3 instead.

the ol' tape measure says they're about an inch shorter
