Default txt-1 rod ends suck! what do i upgrade with?

i know the txt rod ends for the 4 link pull out real easy and are weak. what do i upgrade them with? thanks in advance.

Kyosho 6.8 ball ends work great.

did you use threadlock? just curious. I didn't at first and had the same problem, then locked them and been good so far.

alright. i got the 6.8mm rod ends and the "franged" (lol) balls. but what a pain in the ass! you have to replace all at once (at least on each axle) because they are a different length and you have to replace all the balls including the hardware.

is there an easier way? anyway i can use the stock ball ends and make the stronger? maybe crazy glue them in? or epoxy them in? i'm open to ideas. thanks guys.

Using the Kyosho ends do you need to make new links or will the stock links work? I mean will the threaded rod from the stock ends go into the Kyoshop parts?

The stock links will work, however they make the links slighty longer and the stock driveshaft won't reach. To work around this, I didn't use the black plastic spacers on the lower links and I cut about 1/8" off the kyosho rod ends for the top links. Or, you could convert to the Traxxas sliders...
