Exclamation My txt project done! pics inside!!!!!

so i have been working on my txt-1 for about a month since i got it and built it here is what i have done to it and here are the specs.....
wb = 16 in
center clearence- 5 in i think ( chassis cut )

hitec 645mg steering servo on a custom stainless mount
5-16 alum steering links with revo rod ends
locked diffs with jb weld
links re arranged so stock links are still used
cut chassis 1 in
maxx shocks with 60w oil and stock txt-1 springs
venom rec pack
custom stinger
stock clear body painted red and hacked up
batts mounted really low in chassis (gp3300) mached by fusion racing 4 on one side 2 on the other
reversed stock clod tires
hitec fm radio (non computer)
lathe motor
gd600

It's a good start, there is just one thing wrong with your comments.



It'll never be done, your modding has just begun! Read on here more and more and you'll loose the stock shock setup and make all kinds of mods, but overall looks good to start out.

i have read everything i can find here about the txt.....i only still have the cants because i like all of the flex

How do you like it with the lathe and gd600?

What is your gearing on both of them?

I am thinking of doing this.

i love the lathe and the gd-600 its great,
i have the stock pinion on the lathe (the 48 pitch one that comes with the gd-600)
on the other end i have the stock pinion on the other end (15t) but imm gonna put it upto 16t cuz its a little to low

wow dirk i was expecting you to say it was a piece of ****

imm gonna take the cants off after work today and mout the shocks directly to the axle and chassis. that should help with my stabilitiy issues

I just started a new TXT based truck. It HAS cantilevers!!!!!!
