Cool Grave Digger to be proud of

Hi,

tell me what you think of my TXT-1?

I have moved the gearbox back to fit the 2X7 cell battery packs low down in the front of the truck, I've just fitted a SS5800 brushless system in but haven't had time to test it yet. It also has locked diffs, lower links moved to the top of the axel on custom mounts with dog leg rear link, The front steering has been modified behind the axel to give accurate steering (inside wheel should steer sharper than the outside) It has many other mods that I can not think of at the moment!

Looks pretty good, except if you're using as a crawler, may I suggest ditching the cantilevers. Cut tires work alot better as well. Otherwise, great looking truck.

Cantilevers seem to work well on this truck I have very soft spring ratings on the F/R and R/L to counter act torque twist and as for the tyres I do realise the amount of lost traction but I like the Monster Truck look more than it's crawling ability which is reflected by it's very high top speed!

Got to love Gigger free style!!

nice truck, but if its speed and universal apeal as an offroading monster truck ... i believe it doesnt belong in a crawling forum.

btw, cantilevers are simply additional items to maintain also adds a little weight (not that significant though). they may work great now, but once they start failing i suggest you remove them, there are real cool mods you can do which renders them obsolete.

Wasn't the best pic i've taken but it was on my cell phone

Brushless system has now been removed and fitted in my 2.2 TLT, to fast for that as well (shock!) Think I’ll get a buggy to put it in?

Decided to take all your advice and I’m going to cut the tires and fit a silver can with 8 tooth pinion, cantilevers will stay for now but I’m sure I play with those soon?
