Default TXTurtle phase 3

well ive come to the conclusion that my truck will never be finished... i cant stop rebuilding, upgrading etc... anyway in the last couple days ive installed my revo shafts, new ESC (robbed it out of my buggy), cleaned up the wiring on the truck, mounted a plate at the back for a RX pack... blah blah blah... all i need now is a reciever pack and servo posts for the rear steer.. and better servos somday. oh and we started calling it TXTurtle cuz ive got a friend that races nitro cars and he calls my truck the turtle.

only poser shots for now, like i said i need servo posts, an RX pack, and i want wheels and tires.

the red line on the chassis is the centerline of the truck for weight.

Do you have a problem with losing oil out the tops of those shocks? Mine leak like crazy.

these shocks will leak out the top if theyre overfilled, but yes they do leak... the truck looks like my lifted suburban after a day of crawling, the exxon valdez aint got nothing on me!

The TXT lends itself really well to that. Mine has gotten shorter over the years, and I still want to do a 2.2 sized set up.

Is the bottom of the tranny braced only on the one side?

at the bottom yes, but theres a brace higher up in the chassis on the other side... it cant move. look at the last two pics, its right above the front driveline.

rest assured i will post my findings of the punisher shaft, after i have punished them in my txt, with a Novak H-V Maxx and two 3600 packs through a Gd-600. I want to do wheelies with this thing, and it has a 16" WB. What will Break first??:-( :-( :-(
