So i finnaly got it done, a friend helped me, hes a machinist and basicly cut it and bend it for me. Only thing i did was to tell him how, and i have cut the holes for drive shafts to poke throught. Hope you like it: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I know its not very good, but i think its good enaugh for me. I still need to polish it, and smooth out the edges, and countersunk screwholes in the chassis plates, cause there will be place for batteries (thats why there are lip's on both sides) Last edited by AFJ; 01-26-2005 at 10:19 AM. |

looks good. why polish it though, it wont stay polished for long. once its on the rocks. wow that battery mounting idea is really great. thats as low on the chassis as you could put it and its always nice to have a low center of gravity. cool idea

Good to see some of my ideas inspiraring others, though I see the skid getting you stuck. Mine gets hung sometimes and it doesn't stick out at all. Though my TLT skid is like that and it's not that bad. So who knows, it's nice for sure.
