Default Beadlock Question

I was wondering if these beadlocks would work on stock txt tires?

http://rc4wdstore.com/product_info.p...roducts_id=255

they say TLT and all 2.2 tires and I thought our tires are 2.2's, but they fall right through the inside with rings installed did I miss somthing?
I ordered them and now do I need to send them back?

These won't work on the TXT-1 tyres as those rims are 2.2 and i think the TXT stock rims are 3.2

what you need to do is buy some 2.2 tires. they will fit the rc4wd rims as if they were made to fit. you'll be amazed.

I purchased those wheels by mistake and also some 2.2Moabs for my sons TXT 1. The looked really small on the truck and also gave no clearence at the front of the truck in front of the steering servo. RC4WD kindly exchanged them for the 40 series wheels. These 40 series are what I would have said you wanted.

Txt are usually built with 40 series wheels, But they can also be built with 2.2 wheels in 12.5 wb or 14 wb. depends what you want.

search 14er to get some views. or this one below

I would also say that unless you were intentionally making a 2.2 TXT, you would probably want larger tires.
There are many beadlocks out there for the larger tires: Axial - 40 series, Maximizers - for the Maxx sized tires, Proline Commandos for 40 series. Im sure there are others.

I also dont know why you would want $100+ RC4WD Beadlocks to put on stock TXT Tires?? Those tires are really not that great - I would spend less $ on wheels, and put some into better tires such as Moabs.

I have custom cut my tread blocks and sipped my tires and they actually preform very well, if I get any other tire it'll be a set of mashers, I do mud and dirt also and I think mashers would be better
