Default TXT ballpark suspension link lengths

Alright, first post! I will start off posting a couple pics of my TXT with New Era skid plates all around, 2 Chameleon 2 motors, Sanyo 2400 pack, and a Super Rooster.

So, I have a basically stock truck. These pics were taken a several months ago. I would like to do a few things here, like mount the links up above the axles, clean up the axles (no bumpers), mount the servo on top of the axle, and - the focus here - extend the wheelbase and add Revo shafts.

Now, I have a fair amount of experience in RC, but I will certainly not profess to know a ton about crawling. I am at college right now, and I can't estimate what lengths the links should be. So I ask: what WB should I bring this up to? I know this is a terrible question to ask, but I was considering maybe 15 inches. So what length links would this correspond to?

Again, I apologize for the n00b and relative question, but I know this is definitely the place to ask such questions, as it has the most experienced individuals.

Thank you, guys.

how long are your links now? how long is the wheelbase now?
How long do you want the wheel base to be? how long will the links have to be to achieve your desired wheelbase?

I would probably shoot for about 16.5 - 17 wheelbase if its gonna be a crawler with maxx sized or 40 series tires. If you wanted to do a 2.2 I might go shorter. The length of the links will vary according to where you mount them, how high you mount your chassis, etc. I usually make a jig to hold the axles at the wheelbase I want, then set the chassis at the height I want, then make the links however long they need to be. Also if you are going to use the stock chassis I would cut the bottom off and move the tranny up to get better ground clearance.

I was thinking something along the lines of a 14-16 wheelbase, narrowed 40-series rims with either M2ks or Moabs. I would prefer to leave the chassis uncut for the time being. Because I don't have my TXT here at college, I was kind of hoping some of you could tell me what basic setup you have, and what link lengths that corresponds to. My physics department (yep, physics major) has a machine shop with a couple lathes and machining platforms. I have no problem making them, just need to know how long!
