| Behind the axle steering?
I am in the process of converting the front steering, to behind the axle. I'd like some input from others on what works best. Thanks. rok_toy. |

I have the Bender Customs BTA mounts on the 14'r im building, and i will need to make both a lower and upper links on the servo side that have some "creative" bends in them to clear the servo. Im not sure why i have so much interference when others seem to have none, but i think the benefit of the BTA steering is worth the extra hassle. |

Do you have any pics of what you have done, so far? I've already moved the tie-rod, and bent a draglink (for clearance). I'm just tring to figure out how to securely mount the servo. -rok. |

I run BTA steering on my TXT, I made my own mount based on BENDER's mount. I run the tie-rod below the arms on the knuckle, and the drag link above. I don't have any issues with the bottom 4-link rubbing the servo, the upper link contacts the top of the servo case at full compression on that side. It has been that way for months with no ill effects, I was thinking about limiting the up travel in that shock, but never have.

I use Benders BTA. It works great. He even supplies the bent link. For the money you cannot beat it. It makes a world of difference on approaches. Need to fab one for my TLT now. |

ein truder Your bta servo mount looks almost exactly like im making mine for the front axle. The only difference is that I integrated where your link/shock mounts on the servo side into the same piece that my servo mounts to. I guess great minds think alike :-P Im not done with mine yet - but I think it will work. |

PM BENDER, or visit his site and shoot him an email. All of the parts I have seen from BENDER are very nice quality.

So how many of you have problems with the servo limiting articulation? When I compress the servo side, the servo hits the upper link and limits that corners up travel. I have Bender style BTA setup. I have my uppper links bent upward (high clearance style except on upper links) and still hits.

| Bta
I made my own mounts similar to benders the sevo does hit the link but it has not hindered the performance of my truck.I mounted jato shocks today my truck does have limited artic but works well ran 2 comps with those mounts i beleive that the trade off is worth it thats imo.
