| how to narrow txt-1 wheels with 2 cuts and no glueing
step 1 dismount wheels by methog of choice step 2 take ordinary, run of the mill snuv nose pliers step 3 eyeball the width of the bead( or meaur if you feel like it step 4 take ordinary pliers and grab ahold of te "vanes" or crossmembers and proseed to rip/tear out the aforementioned eyeballed width step 5 take hacksaw/dremel/stake loaf o bread and remove the old channel where th bead sat. savine the old inner lip as the new uter lip step 6 glue on tires you now have a wheel that is approx/ 1.5 inches narrower and you didn't sacrfice ant strutural integrity. and you didn't change the offset or backspacing pics in a few |

If I understand your method, it's the same thing I did. And this is the result after some use. All four wheels are like this. |

true, but when you have a pair of pliers and ca glue ya do what ya gotta. plus i am cheap, plus i am lazy. as a matter of fact i should have just typed cheap and lazy cause it was shorter. I have a dremel but i ran out of cut off wheels and those thinks are like 8 bucks for 5 man. | |

Why don't use just chew off the sections of the rim you don't want? You probably get similar results. |

well i got them done. they look a lot better and there holdin up fine. i took a permanant marker and blacked out the lip. i guess shoul take some more pics. |

well all i can say is wow. the narrowed tires made a world of difference. also i put in the 9 tooth pinions and again WOW. run times tripled lol.
