| ORCRC TXT Comp Rig...
I havent posted many pics of my comp rig, so I thought I'd share it, along with it's new body. Here's the old body from last years season: Here's the new setup: I rotated the GD600 so it's lower, and moved the body posts and electronics around since last year. Moab XL's on narrow custom-hybrid 40 series wheels, 7 cell Elite 4500 batteries, Super rooster, Duralite Voltage regulator, Cut frame, Stretched wheelbase, Giant servos... Truck works well! Thanks for looking, ryan |

Great... you actually did more than charge the batteries. Now it won't work as well. Are you going to add the duct tape again? I think it helps it go better. I highly prefer the booty fad Gerrish builds, none of this pretty pretty princess stuff. |

Hey, I'm not sure you'd call this pretty princess stuff, but it has come a ways since some of my early stuff. Evolution is nice!

I was looking at clocked tranny setups, and might go that route if I feel it needs lower CG. It already climbs really well, but we'll see! Wheelbase is around 16.5" or so. Power is a Tamiya silver can with 2.5:1 GD600... Shoots!

Set up looks good already though..BEfore I clocked mines I had discovered a perfect spot to mount a six cell stick pack to one side of the bottom tranny mount sitting on the skid plate...Thats about as low as you cna get it on the chassis..It was perfecyt..The i clocked it and now theres no room for the stick pack there so i have it up front..Ill take nekkid pics soon. Also if you check out Kaaina's TXT he fit two lipos perfectly within the tranny area keeping everything compact!!..Not that you dont know this stuff anyways Shoots brah!! |

Yeah... for some reason any odd ideas seem to work really well on this rig. It's a simple rig, nothing too fancy outside of the wheels and it basicly out crawls every rig at each comp.... why? I know it's not the driver. There is magic "DANCE" dust on it.
