| FBS:couple new modzs.
FBS got some new modz done to it. First would be new BEEFY links.....front only right now(its about time i biult some for it too)i biult them out of 1/2" aluminum rod.I will be amazed if these bend,it should rip out the rod end before the link bends...........i think :? Second:I chopped off the back of the chassis and leaned the shocks back which gave me some sick articulation about 80**now.becuase of this the back is much lower than the front so i will have to do the same to the front which is what i planned on doing just didnt get around to it today. Third:is just some body trimming to clear the tires for its new found travel.I also lowered the body about 1/2" and thats about it. |

I finished cutting the front today.it looks great too and works great also. I also repositioned all my electronics and got rid of the stock battery holder which by moving that let me lower my body Down more now the tires go over the hood when at full articulation. Body off shot is this good |

I don't know man, it looks like your chassis is too low, your links are now angled upward. I don't think that can be good.

Red whats going with that thing? It's not a good flex shot when it's not all together. Bolt the shocks back up. It's miss leading to newbies.

the skid plate stays.i didnt ruin my frame, the shocks are on the edge of be useless but its like a spider it crawls amazingly well and its very stable, besides im trying something new and thats the price you pay. Also i have BIG plans for shocks in the near future and this position will be perfect. I have always hated 90**............the diffrence between my travel and 90* is like day and night.there is a huge advantage by having 85* travel IF you know how to set it up right. | |

I really don't care what you do with YOUR truck. I think it looks good. i prefer the spider like crawling. thats what my new crawlers gonna be like. they really handle the rocks well! keep it up. I am really curious about the BIG shock idea!

Huge steering rods. Can you move the tie rod to the top of the knuckles? If so, that should help your draglink angle a fair bit...... Jay |
