I put the Moabs on and a body. The servos are sticking out but i think i can deal with it.I think I have it dialed in petty good. The only thing i don't really like is the way the gears whine through the chassis and body. It reminds me of my 1:1 jeep when the Terra Low 4:1 transfer case is in low range. I had to change the front servo from an Airtronics 358 to a Hitec 5945. I think the Hitec is a stronger servo. Now i need to get together with somebody so i can put the smack down on them Check it out. Now its time to finish up another project truck

Great job, very clean. Have you narrowed your rims yet?

I can't tell possitively, but it looks like you've mixed and matched the steering hubs. The steering arm has a higher location one way. It looks like the driver's front is high, and the passenger front is low. And I don't mean the way that you mounted your steering links. Might be the camera? But it does make a small difference in the clearance of the drag link. Otherwise, it looks great. |

You are right about the steering knuckle. I did that so I could mount the drag link to the rear of the servo arm.It rubbed with the other knuckle. I am going to make a z shaped draglink. I went to the trails and did some testing. I really like the wheelbase, never flipped backwards and climbed some big steep lines. I will need to get used to the way the suspension loads and unloads under torque. i also don't know if i'm going to keep the 4ws because the rearend sometimes flops to one side when side persure applied under load it rights itself, but by then my line is compromised. The wheels are narrowed 1" and the foam was cut in half and glued to the wheels. I THINK ITS READY TO KICK SOME DIGLER A$$ oh sorry i must of been dreaming lol haha

EJEEP, I merged this thread with your other two. Let's try and keep the build-up of your TXT in one thread. |
