| Custom steering links
how do I go about making custom steering links? Where do I start? I was thinking threaded rods but the ones I seen at the store looked flimsy |

I use the heavier jato ends, with 8/32 threaded rod, and 1/4" brake line. the brake line is still larger than the threaded rod, so I put washers on each end and tighten the link ends against eachother to keep the rod in tension using washers as shims. |

I use 1/4 aluminum tubing from mcmaster.I cut to lenth and thread each end with a 8-32 tap. I use 3/4" long 8-32 set screws and revo ends to finish them off. They are very stout.

no, the 1/4" brakeline is in compression, the all thread is in tension. That helps to keep it from bending at the threads.
