Default Run2jeepns 1.9'er Trail Rig

I just now got my Kit in today... It's about time. I've been waiting almost a month to come in from China....

This is going to be an easy build here. Nothing to special. Using Rc4wd 1.9 Tomahawks, HPI wheels, Pro-Line Bumpers, Roof Rack, HPI Gear reduction, 55T Venom, Small Body Lift, Very Little body work, 3Racing Winch and extra's

Here are some Idea's of where I'm kind of heading with this build.... First stage of this build will be using the Stock Chassis.. The next stage later this year will be with live axles...

First Stage will look like something between these two stages of my own 1:1... First Pic's is from 10yrs ago with 33in MTR's. 2nd Pic is from 8yrs ago with 36in SX's..

This is the way my Jeep has been for the Last 5yrs.. 38in SX's

Almost Done with the Chassis..

Installed a HPI Gear Reductions and the 55T Venom ..

MRC Hot-Racing Shocks... Easy to mount and fit Perfect. Very easy Mod and allows for a good amount of flex for the rear axle..

Thanks...

I've got to figure out what I'm going to do with the Inner Fenders. The Tires are going to rub way to much. I also need a wheel with more of a offset. Any idea on wheels?

The gear reduction works great and all, but be prepared for your car to go really really really really really really slow lol. The nice thing is that you can always pull off the gear reduction if you ever go play in the snow and sand.

well, there are the steelie wheels from rc4wd. they add about 5mm from what dr kucho said (I think it was him, or stephan). the CAC wheels are reversible so you can add offset too, most of them anyway. you could make your own offset:

I may put one of my 35T's in it... But I had this 55T sitting around..

I have an extra set of HPI Wheels.. I'll see if I can do this MOD... The Steelies don't have a Hex on them. I wasn't for sure of there offset.

That pic is a good 6-7yrs old.

I moved the Wheelbase back..

Next Plans...
Remove Fender Flares
Comp Cut Rear tub for extended Wheelbase
Remove Inner Fenders
Build New inner Fenders
Come up with some sort of Body Mounts
Paint Tub
Etc.... Etc....

Nice start!

What are the little red o ring looking things on the end of the shocks in the first pic? Are these used to take up the slack and allow the shock to move side to side? Where did you get them?
