Default How come there aren't more Wranglers yet?

Just that. With the Wrangler back on the market I figured we would see a Bazillion of the things... So far I think I've seen like three since the re-release...

Are people just sick of Scale Jeeps or is everybody just sitting on stacks of 'em hoping to retire when the price for a mint body goes back to $600?

The price is whats keeping me from getting one yet, the body doesn't make it worth the extra $20 over the Pajero to me and yes, Im so sick of seeing Jeeps everywhere I look.

I've just recently bought a Pajero, so a Wrangler is not in the books just yet. But I stress just yet. I still need to decide the best course of action to take in modding the Pajero. Then when it's all done, I'll give it to my son and buy a Wrangler. But I have to buy in threes anyway. One for the wife, son and myself. The Pajero was a late Christmas gift to myself. But I see at least 3 Jeeps in the near future. Buying a house also puts money tight. And I imagine alot of other builders see money tight right now. Give it some time. Wranglers will be all over these pages like highlifts in the future.

I understand the $$$ being tight thing. If it weren't for that one little detail I would have one in my own grubby little hands right now.

I feel like I would be doing Jeep an injustice by putting a wrangler body on an ifs chassis. If i use the body it will be on a sfa.

I agree. When was the last time you saw a YJ with IFS and a 4-link in the rear?

When was the last time you saw a Jeep running on 19" wheels either? Or one running on 22's? Its not so much the realisim, but the performance and fun factor that makes me run what I do.

I have a pajero kit and I also have the jeep body. To me, the jeep body looks terrible on the cc01 chassis regardless of the ifs/sfa argument. The pajero on the other hand looks right at home on top of the cc01 so that is the way I'm doing it. I'm saving the jeep body for a custom, and not to mention expensive, scaler with straight axles, body mods, etc...

That is the exact same reason why I got the Pajero. Jeep=straight axel, unless you count the fake Jeeps such as the Liberty and Compass and such.
