| XC Axle mod
I needed a new way to mount the shocks on my XC, this is what I came up with using Wheely King axle mounts. I'll let the pics do the talking. Part number is 85250 |

look good. are they pretty secure or can they slide side to side under load?

Wow that is awesome! I would also like to know if they slide or not. If they stay put I have a rig that sorely needs this mod!

They stay put cos they are keyed into the slot that is there from the original links. I had to file the width out slightly and the styrene piece fills the gap cos wheely king axles are thicker than the XC. You could also turn the mounts through 180deg so your shocks mount in front, but I wanted mine behind as like the original design

Thanks for the info! I'm gonna order me those parts and make this mod to my truck. Maybe I can finally finish my XC, haha!

Forgot to mention, but you can also mount your links to them, if you put the bit with 1 hole at the front as mine are
