| My dual-rate shocks...
I haven't seen this done yet, tho I'm sure you guys have, but just in case I felt like passing it along: My humble little jero has been recently upgraded with a CC4600/ 3s lipo combo, and I've now had to do quite a bit of tinkering with the suspension to keep the rubber side down...I've finally got a dual-rate set-up in the rear that handles the little bumps without bouncing all over AND corners well at half-throttle! I used HR MRC shocks with 18t soft fronts on top and firm rears below, with a plastic collar from an 18t between them ( the shock that is not seated in the collar is lightly shoe-gooed to it..) I've also softened the stock BFG's in both Simple Green and brake fluid, and now have great traction...maybe the Pajero isn't meant for speed, but it's doing great now! |

| I soaked them for a day in Simple Green, then a day in brake fluid..they are at prob'ly 75- 80% of their original stiffness...a longer soak would prob'ly soften further, but I've got this rig set up as a Baja-type racer, not a rock crawler, so the stock tires at this softness work fine..
