Okay, I've got to sell some s#%, I want a CC-01! That Bronco looks great . I just can't understand why the Bronco is $257 (on Tower), Unimog is $185, and the Land Cruiser is $170. What gives? Is the body the only diffeence in those kits? I can see a few dollars difference for different bodies but a $90 difference, WOW .

It looks like a rebranded Ezrun/hobbywing motor. I can't see the esc to tell if it's a ezrun or not. Ezrun is just a brand name. There are alot of manufacturers selling the motors and esc's just rebranded. I've seen them as turnigy, speed passion, ezrun, tacon, hobbywing and probably more.

| Just checked. Yep, $190. I always check Tower first because I'm a member of their super saver club so I get emails with coupon codes. When I get ready to order, I'll get them to price match.

I've tried one of those eZrun/Hobbywing/... 32 turn crawler combos in a CC. The gearing is all wrong. It cogged and struggled to lift a wheel onto my foot and was crazy fast. They only have a 380 size core in them, so along with being non sensored, they do a lousy job of dealing with the tall gearing. If you want to use a GRU they would be fine, but you are better off just using a 55 down to 75 turn motor with the esc switched to brush mode so you can still enjoy the wonders that a hold brake brings to CC01 world. They need one. |
