| dog bones
hi guys i have a on going problem with the dog bones braking. i have tryed only the stock ones and toke sum weight out after i broke the set it came with and last night lost the driver side. looking at the passenger side it is bent. ????? im lose on what to try next . set up 55t motor sidewinder esc rc4wd 4\1 gru 1.9 roclocks thanks for any help |

the GRU is multiplying your torque... thats part of the problem. Switch to some CVD's or Universals and that will likely help too. I am running a small lift kit and some MIP CVD's from the 1990's and they are still holding up to competitions with a 2.5:1 GRU |

Mine were for a Tamiya TA02. They are hard to find, not sure if they even make them anymore. E-bay is likely your best bet. My other rig has universals from GPM and they are holding up good so far, but they have far fewer hours on them too. |

If you are using a 4-1 gru I highly recommend using a stock motor like the 27t as the 55t along with the gru will break a lot more if you get stronger axles. In saying that I highly recommend the GPM steel universals as I have had mine now for quite a while and no issues yet.

yeah i was seeing if sum one had sum thing i could get from the l.h.s. but i will just get the gmp ones. i'm running the 55t motor cus the stock one didn't come with my used cc01. i will try a higher turn motor. thanks for the help guy |
