What?, if any, longer front suspension arms can be adapted to the cc-01 chassis? Of coarse I would need to source longer axles/dogbones. But, matching the width of longer arms on the rear would be as easy as wheel spacers if I didn't get crazy. I'd like to widen it a touch, but with longer arms upfront for more travel at the same time. I'm worried that a wheel spacer up front, on the stock parts will put too much leverage, and stress on the existing from suspension. I searched, but maybe someone has a new and improved idea. Plus I don't have a lot of buggies etc to compare too. |

You could always make some. That's the route I was going to take until I installed 3racing portals. They added 10mm width per side and more ground clearance. Rears were a pain to do but the results were worth it. If you decide to make longer arms, it should be pretty simple. For a longer dogbone, just cut them in half and braze a sleeve onto the dogbone at the correct length. This is what I really like about the CC-01, not a ton of aftermarket support so you have to make your own parts. |
