| New CC01 owner
Well i just traded jrock (thanks) some stuff and now i have a cc01 in my hands I'll be browsing through the cc01 section, and start watching the cc01 section. Anything a new owner should know about this little rig, it looks like gpm has all the hop-ups...anymore or would just ordering everything they have set me up good. |

The main thing to know is the gear cover screws can strip out easily. Drilling through and putting a nut on the underside will help. Sometimes you even have to shim the spur gear shaft to keep it from hopping.

The screws are fine (personally I hate hex heads) Its the plastic tub that strips out after pulling off the gear cover or overtightening it. |

Yea i knew what you meant about the tub that strips out...i just don't like Philips heads, especially when i have a $40 hex driver set |

I'm glad you like it man and now it won't be just sitting on the shelflol. Have fun with it and I never had a problem with my 2 cco1's with the gearcover So I would say don't worry about it unless your going to put something crazy in for electronics. Have fun crawlin, Jason |
