Why would you want to waterproof the winch? It's a brushed motor. TapaTalk on Iphone4 |

Eventually the motor will wear if you run in dirty water or mud. However, the replacements are cheap and easy to swap. Run til it screams and then swap the motor. I sprayed my controller with plasti dip. You can still use the button, since there is enough give in the coating. There is a bearing in there, which could be swapped out for a Traxxas sealed bearing. I just oiled mine up though and it sounded fine, when I swapped the motor. Wes |
