CC01 or SCX10??

Looking to get one or the other. Just wondering comments on pros and cons of each. Thanks for the input

Depends on what you want. Ask your self one simple question...

Do you want a RC that is scale out of the box? or one that will preform better out of the box?

The CC-01 is more scale out of the box and will take mods/upgrades to make it preform better

The SCX-10 will preform better out of the box but will take mods/upgrades to make it more scale

CC01 hands down!!!! Lol but it all depends on what you want. The axial does perform better out the box and there is a lot of upgrades. But I love my cc01 and they are in a totally different category then the axial. My cc01 has gone where a axial wraith with rear steer could not and it wasnt becuase it was too wide. But my cc01 prob has the best upgrade you can do to them and it was not a easy upgrade for the guy that did it. They drive totally different too with the ifs. You would prob fall in love with the cc01 but you would prob be better off with a axial.

You're going to have less down time with an SCX10 if you build it properly and do some necessary mods. It's also a true scale crawler that actually performs well.

The CC-01 is very scale as well and a great platform but the tranny is all plastic and not really a true crawler unless you chunk quite a bit into it. Also most Tamiya parts you have to order online.

I'd say start off with the SCX-10 then get a CC-01 later on. CC-01 is pure scale I love the IFS!
