Default Which shocks/springs?

Waiting for my Pajero to arrive and already thinking of the must-do upgrades.
Already ordered Dirt Grabbers for tires, Integy Lathe 65T for motor and now im thinking replacing those stock shocks or springs as im guessing theyre very hard.
So, which shocks/springs should i buy for Pajero so it would act like a true scale and not like a kangaroo?

Thx for any advice!

The stock springs aren't to bad. I'd say there on the softer side they tend to sag a bit, the shocks are eh... Id rate steering improvements higher on the upgrade ladder though

Stock shocks are surprising good. Mine don't leak at all and the spring rate feels perfect for the weight of the truck. Definitely look into steering before any other suspension mods. Also, you can trim the factory steering knuckles for more lock, and also the front c-hubs for more droop. I'm just running some drop shackles in the rear of mine with stock shocks and it's been great. If you're still set on shocks, get some 90mm for the rear and 80mm for the front.

I'm running stock shocks with 55wt oil and brown Associated front buggy springs all around. It softens up nicely after a few runs. Works pretty well slow or fast. (Fast being relative. I've got a 55T motor with a 16T pinion.)

55wt shock oil is pretty thick for crawling isn't it?

MoonUnit's front shocks get filled with 40wt oil and they are still soft as hell. I wouldn't mind getting something like 55wt oil for the stock shocks.

In my comp crawler, I used to run 100wt or more. Made the shocks nice and smooth. The CC01 shocks are so sloppy that one can get away with some mid-weight stuff.

I've got some 500,000wt diff goop I should try...

I am building up a pair of twin Unimogs, one (a welding rig)on an RC4WD TF Jeep chassis and the other (a snow plow rig) on a CC-01 chassis. One the CC-01 chassis I am using Team Associated factory team touring car shocks, perfect length and they are great shocks.
