Default CC-01 Jeep Mirrors?

Howdy
I have been looking around for a bit, and I can't seem to find a good set of side mirrors that are scale for this Jeep. The mirrors that they include with this kit are surprisingly subpar considering the rest of the kit, and I really don't like the way they look.
Perhaps I am just searching for the wrong thing - but what's a good set of side mirrors?
Thanks!

Dang, no replies as of yet. I have seen a post on here where someone had acquired rubber mirrors for the Wrangler. I don't think they are in production anymore, however, I think the rubber mirrors for the HiLux will work if you take an exacto to them and flatten out the curve. These mirrors are on RC4WD, i think you just need to search for either mirrors or rubber and they will show up.

I had a thought. Could you make a mold with the mirror in some clay, bake it, then fill it with shoe goo or something and trim it then paint it? This is way out there, but an idea I want to try.

RPP Hobby have some scale side mirrors, but I think they are for the Hilux. But they are rubber I believe, have a search on their site.

I made a mold of some mirrors and used a black rubber compound to make a prototype that were very flexible but didn't have my venders star so I gave a few sets out and one guy even done a video on another scale forum to show how tough but flexible they were.
Being a one man scale shop it wasn't worth time or effort to start production because of the larger venders being able to make them for less then I can.
Here is his test video back in March,2010

kuatto, you've got some really nice pieces on that site. If I were you, I wouldn't worry about competing on price point, but simply charge what covers your materials, time and some gravy on top for you.

I think with the quality, and cool products, you'll do just fine.

I'll be checking in to see when orders can be placed again.

Any chance of you posting here, or shooting me a PM as to when you'll take orders again?

Cheers
