| new bright tj build
i got a couple new bright tj bodies in a trade, i was just gonna flip em, but ended up finding a cc01 roller cheap and decided to build one. this start as a no direction build, i just started cutting the body and building a cage for it. so far its turning out ok some 3/16th steel tube interior just stuck in with a TSC tool box my roller showed up, now for some trimming and modding to make everything fit right some servo clearance front of the chassis got to go this is a mess Last edited by stanmondz; 03-01-2013 at 05:47 AM. |

a few more pics cut the tool box to sit down in the hole in the chassis and started on some filler panels around the bed area. not very good with styrene but paint covers ugly to a point and got a set of rc4wd prowler xs tires on the way. plan to keep the mesh jeep wheels if i can i think im gonna leave the body black with the faded spots on it Last edited by stanmondz; 03-01-2013 at 05:56 AM. |

Lookin good man. going for a kind of stock look? if not you should widen the track a little, that'd look mean. |

Looks awesome mate, the internal cage is very nice and the toolbox fits the theme perfectly.

Yeh my CC01 looks like that too, but you have to sacrifice perfect looks for more clearance up front.

ahh. it looks so much better with the bigger tires. the stock ones were funny looking in those wheel wells, and the bumper/skid plate looks hella clean
