Default Thin 12mm hex adapters

Anybody know of any thinner than stock hex adapters? My new wheels and tires rub the Wrangler hard body so if I can bring the wheel in some it will clear the fenders (which I don't want to cut) axial Exo hexes are slightly thinner and help a little. Anybody else do this and know of any hexes?

I picked some up off e-bay. that are only about 4mm thick. I think they were from an SCX-10. I really wish I could remember where I found them at. That's what I'm using on mine.

the stock ones are soft plastic, cant you just file them down? you might need a spacer for the wheel nut so it doesn't bottom out the threads tho

edit: lol just read the title, my bad

I knew I had seen them somewhere...made by Integy...

I did this...and it works pretty good although, I think it would work better if it's done with the aluminum hex without the set screw setup.

Keep in mind, that using a thinner hex may require some grinding on the hex on the back of the wheel. If not, it may rub on the end of the axle.

I had a set of thin plastic ones that came with a set of 2.2 RPM revolver wheels a long time ago. At laest thats where I think they came from. But a quick tower search and I found these... TowerHobbies.com | Integy Hex Wheel Hub 12mm 4mm Thickness Blue 1/10 Drift ...granted they are integy brand...but they're just hexes...I hope integy can get at least those correct.

Look at on road racing stuff. I just picked some 4mm alloy ones made by 3Racing. Cheap and effective.

That's actually what I did last night. I have some old plastic Axial hexes that came with the original AX10 so I filed one of those down as a test. Works for now.
