Default 7.2v out of the question...

A customer bought a CC, and transfered his AX10 setup over to it. 55T novak, Mini-crawler 6-cell Nimh, Novak Rooster crawler. It stalls out horribly when under load, like trying to crawl up a wall. (It wont do it.) That's with an 18 tooth. Just tried a 12 tooth, and it's better for a few minutes until the NImh gets low, then is stalls again, but it's almost too slow to crawl. With a 2 cell Lipo and that se5tup it was better, but still too slow.

I guess it's not possible to run that low of voltage with this truck and expect to have any wheelspeed? At least with a lathe motor...

I've never tried one of those packs but can guarantee it doesn't have enough umph to work with the worm drives.

I tried running a 7.2v 1650ma 2/3a pack thru Mamba max to a HH 5t. It was a joke. I don't even know why I tried that battery, it just isn't realistic. We need that high release/burst rate battery. This thing is power hungry. Still figuring out the power combination myself, and reading what everyone else has to say

He's asking about 2/3a cell packs, not lipo.

I ran mine with a 20t pinion and a 55 turn Novak with 3s 2200mah. I liked the wheel speed. Not too fast, but not too slow. I ran for about 25min then the CVD broke. Go figure.:?. Oh well. I still like it.

Really?? I tried this truck with a 2 cell lipo, 55t, rooster crawler and both 18 and 12 tooth pinions, and it was too slow to work AND would stall terribly on 18 tooth...

Customer decided to buy a Goat to solve his problems..

X2 stalled out and diddnt have any torque to push thru cracks etc. even with smaller pinion it stalled out,
11.1 lipo sidewinder 55 turn lathe and 20 , 18 , 14 tooth pinions

I WANT TO BUT THAT BRUSHLESS SENSORED SYSTEM BUT CANT DECIDE BETWEEN THE 21.5 TURN AND THE 17.5 TURN ANY ADVICE?
