I like to out board my front shocks.
I changed out the upper shock balls for JeepinDoug's steel 6mm shock balls/standoffs. These guys are pretty slick and let the shock work smoothly at this angle. With them, I don't have to change the shock arm spacers at the chassis.

Here's another thing I've been working on lately...

Adjustable from 3oz to 10oz of sub axle weight per side

With this setup, I swithced to a 1" SLW front wheel with a 725 offset hub.

I've had to readjust my foams since I removed the wrap of sticky weights from inside the tire. I tried to compensate by using a stiffer inner foam for the Shamrock Showdown in St. George over the weekend, and it was pretty terrible Once I get the foams dialed back in, I feel that this setup will be amazing.

I also swapped in an RcBro's aluminum motor clamp to keep the motor from moving around when I'm flying through the courses. I've never had any major problems with the stock clamp, but the aluminum one definitely adds some piece of mind.

These springs will be the same length as the Gold and White crawler springs

In general, I like to use full tires on smooth rock, and cut tires on rough or loose rock. It seems that full and cut tires both work better once they're broken in. My favorite set is actually the tires from the 2010 German Natonals... and they probably have 250 battery packs on them now

No worries, the front shocks are mounted the same way. I just had a pic of the rear shocks handy so I used it

The ESC is just a standard Xcelorin Crawler ESC with this heatsink installed

Yep... it comes in a bottle

Once I get tired of gluing them, I'll have to whip up something fancy like yours
