| To buy a losi or not?
Well i was looking to get a Losi, i had a mrc and loved it. Love the looks of the losi, pretty much like everything about it. If i buy it i will first try running a 35t motor with 12t pinion with a rooster crawler on a saddle pack. If that doesnt work i will sell the rooster and 35t and go for a fxr and 21t on 12t. Just wondering if anyone would reccommend this rig? Should i buy one?

hasn't this question been asked enough already? If you are even remotely halfway thinking about possibly maybe buying this thing, just do it already. Sheesh, you would think that this thing had fangs and was going to bite someone. (Now that's a cool idea for the aftermarket guys to work on... fangs, bite the competition, win by default... YES) errr where was I. Awesome rig, get it!!!! |

Buy one! Not sure if you'll be happy buying different motor esc combo's. Not everyone has good success with them. Seems like a 21.5 brushless set up is the way to go.

sould like you've alreadty made up your mind and you're just looking for that lil extra push to get you over the edge. the 35t might be a little high of a turn motor for the losi. heard alot of people going w/ a brushless set up w/ the losi |

you're going to have it in the forsale section within a week of getting it. You should have used your SCRC hookups and gotten it locally cheaper than you prolly paid for it and you wouldn't have dealt with shipping.

| It all depends, i dont want to keep selling and buying electronics, I am going to try the 35t first, if that doesnt work i might try the titan, it depends how i feel about the truck. If the 35t does work, ill be very happy with it.

Make sure you throw some sticks in your bag. Because you will break the cvd's. Then you can just take a repair throw the stick in you axle and be ten time stronger. Plus better steering

| Because he sells everything after having it a week or less Quote:
Too me the 35t is going to be way too fast, from the ones I have seen in person, I would go 45-55 but that's my $0.02

| Still got the evader. hahah I guess people have been having problems with higher turn motors over heating in this rig? Not sure why but ill play along. I do have a novak 55t im going to try with a 12t pinion just for shits and giggles... |

| The reason guys are overheating them is do to the reduction being in the axles. In order to get any kinda of wheel speed (beyond a snale crawl) you have to have the motor pegged. Too much speed, too much heat, instant poof. That's why guys are going brushless or trying to get creative with other types of motors.

I have a tekin fxr in my losi with a 45 t and a 12 t pinion. This setup has enough torque for most climbs, but slow speeds and after about 4 minutes of straight running the motor gets so hot you'll lose power, well i think that is why i'm losing power
