Default The tires in the kit...

Are they decent? Are they the ones everyone has been running? Or are they a harder compound like the hammers were in the scorpion ARTR kit? I ended up with Panther Cougars on my ax-10 and loved them but I have been away from crawling for a couple months and it looks like a lot of stuff has changed haha.

They're the same Losi Rock Claws in blue compound, meaning hey're comp ready. The stock foams are a bit on the stiff side and should either be star cut or replaced with memory. However, there are some that like the stock grey foams and they work great on sandstone and other higher traction surfaces.

The Rock Claws are very equivalent to Cougars.

I wasn't sure if they were the same compound as the ones they first came out with is all.

They are the same tires that won the National Championship in 2007.
