Default What pinion with the Titan?

I am getting a Titan with my losi so i might as well use it. What pinion do you guys suggest with it? I hear 15t is good.

Also, i have seen it but is it ok to run a sidewinder with that motor and a 3s Lipo? What are the expected runtime for a 1500mah 3s 25C mystery pack on these crawlers?

One last question...

With the rock claws do you guys recommend running all memory foam? Hybrid foam? Or what?

12t seems to be the magic gear.

12T also, I will run a 13T on smooth round rocks as long as there are on ledges or out crops to get into a bind on.

So I've been running this setup for awhile and love it, the thing you need to watch out for is that the 12t pinion doest get in tight enough for the mesh, ideally I'd like it a little tighter but the next step is the 13.

15T will burn it up in a brand new LCC. If the rigs broken in, and the rocks are super smooth (like river rock), you're super smooth on the trigger and you use the dig, you might, and I mean might, get away with it.

I actually prefer a looser mesh, not quite racing, but not buckled down 55t. The less resistance the better.

Actually a Titan 23t may be a slightly better fit, or really any of the generic 550s in the right power band should work and there on average 3 to 5 bucks, so with shipping you could easily get 3 or 4 motors for the price of 1 titan.

But I would stick with 12t, it's what I use on my Mabuchi 550 and I ran for a good hour yesterday and it was near a 100*s outside and my motor only got to 114*
