I like my 17.5, because when I need wheel speed I can just throw down the hammer and it flys up verticals w/ a 12 tooth pinion.

I like the 17.5 as well. 13 tooth pinion, I have no issues with lack of torque. Motor gets warm, would probably overheat if I drove it hard nonstop for two battery packs at a time (maybe not though), but by that time the rear worm gears are getting really hot too. I plan on putting a fan on the motor to help keep it cool. I love the wheelspeed, I've climbed lots of stuff with it that would not be possible without the wheelspeed.... |

I have the 17.5 also,,,,fast and good low end torqe IMHO. I run a 12t pinion and have to say it's my first crawler so I don't have anything to compare it to....I did put a fan on just to ease my mind,,,,,it works well  I just hope when Losi gets the crawler version programing done for the esc we can get a free download,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, |
