nice. my MOA kit should be here any time now.
So, you went with 2 puller motors and a mamba MAX ESC?

why did you have to use a BEC? isnt the mamba MAX a 2C or 3C ESC?

what type of performance gains are you getting? is the crawler a lot faster?

I don't quite understand what your asking but I'll give it a shot....

I have 2 pullers because it's a MOA rig. Yes I'm using a Mamba with a 3s lipo. I use a BEC to power the servo-dig-rx. And yes my rig is very fast

thanks. Im actually going to see if i can use the cobalt 454 motors, for $40.00 a pop. not only are they well within my budget, but you can say that you have a 454 powered rock crawler!

gotta get some chevy 454 stickers for my 1970's F100 truck body i painted...

shipping though is killing me. $65.00 shipping fee (1-3 days) on the MOA kit itself.

Standard shipping is pretty quick to Canada, and that only runs $13.95.

There ya go, just wait the few extra days and save some $! $13.95 is a lot better than $65 and only a few days different

Can you still get the 480 motors or can you only get the 500's now? Looked on his site and only found the 500s. Not sure on the difference between the 2.

Running HH 35's and it seems pretty good. Weight of mine is 5 lbs even with dual FXR's and GC2 chassis.

hey tattookenny

how did you wire the motors? and did you have to reverse the rotation of any motor?

I was simply going to make a "Y" at the end of my + and - wires from the ESC and hook a motor up to them so each motor has a + and - wire coming from it.

Thread count doesn't matter to me! Who cares?

Yes, you have to reverse one of the motors. I wired the motors up the way they should be to the Punk dig, I just put one of the Deans plugs on backwards on one of the motors.

Both of these videos are from the same course. That is my rig and I am pretty easy on the throttle. There are a couple shots of me getting after it

because im tired of searching through one trillion different websites that pop up when typed through google or yahoo. Dont you think it would be easier to just get answers in a forum that many people (some in the same boat as you) are on.

thanks tattookenny.
