Default Motor for the lcc?

What motor do you suggest for a lcc with cc sidewinder and 3C lipo?
Something which gives me alot of wheel spin and enough torque.

If you have any vids of your rigs and tell me what setup you have would help me alot...

What do you think about this one TRAXXAS TITAN 550 MOTOR, 21 TURN
http://www.ckrccrawlers.com/shop/ind...oducts_id=2121

do you think it will be too fast?

maybe stupid but I dont know what gearing the losi has ind the g-box and diffs

The tranny is almost 1:1. Yes the Titan will work. There are several threads in here that will answer all of your motor/ESC questions. I started one when it first came out that is about 8 pages long now.....Search is your friend

I would ditch the "Wiggle Servo" and pick up the Hobbico CS170 servo (also recommend the Hitec 7995TG, JR 8711, Airtronic 94780M). The Tekin HotWire isn't needed. You can do all the necessary program at the ESC...it's easy.

You don't need the servo horn. The losi kit comes with servos horns that fit all the brand names out there.

I would pick up variety of pinions 13-16 tooth.

Yes I would add a bec.

I would look at your original ESC choice. The Sidewinder is a great speed control, 3s capable and BL capable as well if you ever put it in another rig. Its not a sensored system so it won't run a BL in a crawler. One of its downfalls is a weak drag brake but with a Losi that's not needed. They are about 30 bucks cheaper tham the Tekin.

You can get much cheaper batteries on www.valuehobby.com and ebay. Just a suggestion.

I'm running a maxx product 480 size 11t puller with my sidewinder on 3s. 12t pinion and a fan above it. Lots of wheelspeed. Runs at 130-140 for temps.

I think there is some question about running the Titan on 3 cells with the FXr - a buddy of mine does it, and loves it - but the FXr says "down to 35 turns" on 3cell. Just something to think about.
I run the Integy V11 35T on 3 cells with the FXr, and I'm pretty happy with it - 13t pinion. My 35 got a fresh cut comm and little hotter brushes which helped a lot. Not the best comm cut out of the box.

You have to add it to your cart to see the sale price. Just click on "Buy Now".

I am running an LCC with the Titan motor and 12t pinion. Using a CC Sidewinder and Xcite 1300 3s battery. This combo is working very well for me and helped me to win our summer series here in North Dakota.

I am running the 23T with a 12T pinion. Seems to work very well. The only complaint I have is from stop to slow crawl its a little jumpy.

What esc do you have ? It may be in the programming you have setup.
