Default A couple MOA questions.

You guys that are running MOA do any of you regret it? How is the clod stall or is there any? The reason im asking is that Im real close to pulling the trigger on this. I havent had my losi 2 weeks and Im already wanting to upgrade. I love the rig but Im looking for something more.
My other question is about the esc, I just bought a Goat 3s and would really like to use it for the MOA because I cant afford another esc? Im planning on running 35t Integy's, and a Punk.
The specs are
Motor limit (bl) 13.5 turn( 2s), 18.5 turn (3s),
Motor limit (b) 27 turn (2s), 33 turn (3s)
Im still pretty new at this and Im not sure if the 3s Goat will support the motors. I also plan on using 3s lipo's.
This is kinda a cross post since I asked the Goat ? in the electronics section. I got no responses there though.

Thanks

Me, none. I hates the stock truck, love it MOA.

I have stall, but I have learned to use it.

I have no idea. The one local guy that runs that ESC in a stock Losi has issues constantly. This is his 2nd or 3rd Novak ESC that has done horrible in a crawler.

If you run 2 35 turn motors, you will have the amp draw of 2 17.5 turn motor. That is twice the motor the ESC is rated for.

Does that help? Hit me up if you have anymore questions;)

I played it safe and didn't want to regret anything so I bought a second LCC to do the MOA conversion on...

I ran 2 45t Integy V11's and it was unusable, sucked, stall was HORRIBLE. I'm running dual Mamba Max's so I shouldn't have much stall issues. That motor combo just blew. I picked up a pair of 10T Pullers last weekend and so far I'm really diggin the MOA crawler now. Tons of power, the stall is predictable and not a hinderance anymore...

So I think as long as you go with a proven setup on the MOA you'll be happy. Much like the stock kit, if you go with what is known to work you'll be OK.

Absolutely no regrets. The MOA kit is the best upgrade that can be done to the Losi. The stall is not bad and the truck climbs like a goat now. I had constant problems with the stock truck, but now the only problem I have is trying not to buy another one. Pull the trigger.

You think? That was the first motor setup I ran and like it. Of course, I am really light on the throttle;)

Im running almost the exact same setup, just kept the stock MoA pinions. What little stall I have helps me know when to dig

Only if you are running a 4+ channel radio and have the ability to independently control power to each axle. 2 esc's running off the same channel just means you have less amp load on the esc's.

Damn looks like I just wasted 150 bones on a esc.
On a side note Im pretty pleased with the Goat brushless systems. I have a 2s that I ran in my axi and the 3s in my LCC. Both work flawlessly. Two things I dont like about the 3s is the fan on the esc and having to power the reciever with a bec.
Its looking like Im going to have to piece it together.
Thanks for the input keep it coming.

Yes you did, it will ship tomorrow. What are you going to run for a dig? The Punked are really nice but I built my servo/switch dig for about $23.00.
