Lotsa worm lube and use the DIG to relieve the drivetrain pressure and not the motor to power thru it....you will be surprised at the difference it makes.

Sorry not very understand what you say? What is the DIG? Is it the front or rear wheel lock?

New to crawler.

Yes the "DIG" is the front or rear wheel lock. Using the DIG will help lower motor temperatures.
With my brushless 18.5T Novak Crawler motor, I can rip 10 pound boulders out of the course with a squeeze of the throttle but the motor doesn't like it, nor do the axle pins.
Using the "dig" to take the pressure off the drivetrain will not only lengthen your run times, but your motor will thank you for it.

Using the dig is going to help you the most, but I put a little computer fan on mine, and that keeps it cool for a bit.

make sure there is air movement around motor. try moving things if possible to get air to go in and out of the motor

Too bad need to get another tx first before I can control the dig, as I am using a DX3S. Sad.

Grease all the gear, it help a lot in cooling down the motor temp.

Can't you set up the DX3S to use front DIG only? I realize it only has a two position switch, but front DIG would be far better than no DIG. Should be able to set EPA's to make it work.
The DX3R has a 3P switch.

Does the 3PK have a 3 position switch? I was hoping to use it for my Losi build.
