Default Thinking of getting rid of my moa kit and axles

I am thinking on going a differant direction. I was wondering what a set of used axles and an moa kit should sell for? I have the ckrc cvds on them as well. Other than the cvds they are stock.

well considering that i just bought a complete LCC with the MOA for under $250, im thinking your looking at about $200. because you dont have the rest of the stock parts.

My front end keeps locking up. I know that the worms when the clod stall thing kicks in it locks up but it is so freaking unpredictable it makes me mad. I started smoking a brand new motor 35t after only a few minutes of running. I don't get it, my rig ran perfect at crawlapalooza and any time I Rand but now it's crapping out on me. I would have rather kept it a shafty.

One guy at the shop tried that, and it is a no go! The gear ratio is not right. With a 55t motor, the thing ran, im guessing, 30+. But when you bump a rock it didn't have the torque to go over the rock. All the gear reduction in the LCC is in the worm gears!

if ur front end keeps lockin up check the set screw inside the cvd after a few months of runnin my ckrc cvd's my set screw started to come lose and it wouldn't hold the pin in and the pin ends up bindin up inside the c hub if thats ok pull ur front axle a part and check the teeth on ur worm gear u might have a broken 1 cause thats what mine was doin before i yanked my axles off the rock it just my .02

I have a comp tommorrow, I'll check that about the pins. I know the worms are good to go. Could it be the gear mesh is to tight and needs to be looser? Would that cause it?

Did you end up finding anything wrong with the front pinnion gears? I am courious, I was getting some binding in my rig ( still is a shaft ) and I took the trany and both axles apart. Nothing.:? So I am thinking the motor is binding when it gets hot. But this is only after about 45min of running.

I guess I am hoping that you found your problem.
