I'm happy with my Novak Gaot 3S with an 18.5T motor with 3S batteries.

12 tooth for now.

Im also running the Goat 3s and a 18.5t Novak. It works really well.
I hope you are wanting a new speed control too. Cause the mamba is a great esc, but I do not believe that it has a sensor plug, and a sensored motor will only be sensored if you have the matching speed control.

This is what I pre-ordered. I also will be running the MM-PRO.

Either the Novak Goat 3S Crawler 21.5 system or the Losi Crawler 21.5 system with a 16T pinion would be great. When using the 11.1V lipos it gives these 21.5's some good wheel speed.

Interested in these. Priced reasonable, look like a great product for the LCC.

Losi combo got postponed again... now it's due in "Late January" and yesterday it was due in "Late November" (http://www.losi.com/Search/Default.a...ensored_Combos.

They just lost 1 client and, like me, many others will look for different "solutions" for they esc+motor combo.

I run a Novak goat 3S with a 13.5 goat crawler and a 12t pinion works great and I have the wheel speed of the MOAs and the motor never gets over 110 degs I also run a goat 3S with a goat crawler 18.5 with a 15 rotor and a 14t Pinon and it is also great so you can go both ways if you need the wheel speed for DIG this is the way to go.

I was thinking about giving a Hacker 21.5 a try with my Goat 3s.

Our new Ballistic Crawler motors feature our 14mm tuning rotor;

Quote:
The Crawler Tuning Rotor – 14mm (#5950) was designed to alter the feel and experience of driving a Novak crawler motor, and offers a new dimension of tunability. With a larger diameter and improved magnetic material, the rotor provides more torque and stronger braking. It also increases natural drag braking and improves the motor’s initial throttle response, providing more control on steep climbs and downhill descents. The crawling sintered rotor is compatible with both of Novak’s SS18.5 (#3419) and SS21.5 (#3420) Pro Crawler Brushless Motors. With its larger diameter, the new tuning rotor also cuts down the air gap in the motor, leading to more refined controllability.
