Default A little more gearing

So today i had to pull the motors out of the losi. Its been losing speed in the rear motor. so while i had it apart i threw the old tranny and a hpi gear reduction box on it.

I got the slipper to break free for once. Its real slow right now

I donīt think you need gear reduction but I canīt understand why people need loads of speed on a crawler chassis ...

because on some obstacles at national events the inclines are just so steep that there is no traction, and the only way to get up these inclines is to go full throttle and the more wheel speed you have the better chance you have.

plus who doesnt like speed

Does trans ratio on your calculator represent the axle ratio? Shouldnt it be 25:1?

yes that is the final ratio including the worms. I think 4s1p will be interesting with the 3350kv bl motor.

or a set of 45t novaks with the moa and black label crawlers gears humm I cant decide.
