plugging the bec into the bnd wont do anything that is to bind a tx with the rx the bec needs to be plugged into the aux port of the rx

| Thats not exactly true. The bind port is also the battery port for gas cars, so the bec is fine there. I'm only saying that so if you want to ever hook in a dig servo, or a punk dig, they will go in aux and the bec will have to go in the bind port.

I have an intrgy 45t on mine took off the capicator runs fine. I asked many people about the capicator and we think it is for when your using nimh battery to store power for when you punch it. But no one knows exactly.

the big capacitors you see on the ESCs is for handling voltage spikes and amp loads from brushed and brushless motors. your correct in that they store power. it helps lesson the initial load on the ESC and battery. basically when you mash the throttle in racing your hitting the ESC for everything it can give and wacking the batteries at a bigger amp load. the capacitor loads up quick when your off throttle then helps deliver a punch of voltage when you hit the throttle. helps reduce ESC and motor heat and help increase battery life. | |

Ill add the cap back then it did feel a little soft and the 35 turn motor and 15 pinion was not enough either now looking for a 21 turn traxxas titan in search of some wheel speed how much motor can the factory esc handle ? with 6 cell nimh and 2s lipo power Last edited by four12unner; 02-03-2010 at 12:30 AM. |

I want brushless now im over the shitty performance from the stock esc/motor either so slow it end on its lid because its so slow going downhill or it stalls in a small bind with the 35 turn and 15 pinion lnc esc/motor = rtr junk |

the stock lnc esc works great till i felt the need to go 3s (i have a but load of 3s lipos). i may wannah buy your stock esc off of u. that thing works great in my MRC. i do thing u should get tires though. u can run the nova foams like what u already have, everyones been happy with. or somthing really soft like the set i lent u.

last comp with the 35 turn the esc/motor would stall out unless i gave it alot of throttle so it crawlled like crap so Im completly over it rover ex tires are what I wanted but they are sold out and on back order are you going to hobbytown this thursday ? I may end up buying a esc/motor combo undecided on castle brushless setup or novak though |
